I would recommend buying the Regal Tickets from Costco first ($15-16 for a pair) and then paying the extra $5 at the box office---you end up paying around $13 for your ticket and save $3 per ticket! WOOHOO!! (Hey...that extra $6 savings for a pair can get you a nice little tub of popcorn!)

So I went to bed at 2 AM and had to wake up by 7:30 AM for work this morning. A few years ago, this would have been easy breezy peezy for me---I used to be able to jump right out of bed, get washed up and be out the door in no time. That is, until I discovered the wonders of snooze. The older I get, the more I've resorted to hitting the snooze button on my cell phone alarm. It's quite a vicious habit as I've grown accustomed to the likes of this little "go back to sleep...for...just........a...........few...................... more.......................minutes" option. So this morning when I should have been to work by 9 AM, I was making a mad dash out of my house around 8:50 AM, and of course, had to stop off at the local monopoly-of-a-coffee-chain-that-greedily-steals-all-my-hard-earned-money STARBUCKS for my morning cup o'joe. Additional to my slow-becoming routine of NOT being able to get up on time are the body aches and pangs that I used to never have. What has become of my once youthful health!? I fear that life has gotten the best of me.   

Maybe I'll start trying yoga or pilates or something of that sort.

On a different note, I thought my trip to New Zealand this past October would have killed off some of the "travel bug" that has been eating away at my brain. Unfortunately, I'm still dying to go some place new. Something exciting! Do things I've never done! Eat things I've never eaten! My girlfriend, Amy, and I were looking into all sorts of option for this winter (more specifically December 28-30----which were the only dates that we could both work around). Sadly, everything at this point is either sold out/booked or requires both our arms and legs as payment. We've seriously considered every option available to us that is reasonable for the given time frame we're allotted. (Even thought about taking a trip up to Canada. OH CANADA!!!!!!) Oh, and roundtrip 3 day cruises down to Mexico were only about $170 a couple of months ago. We checked the other day---$300-500!!!!! Le sigh. I guess we'll have to wait for the fares to come down, but until then...I'm getting desperate and itchin to go somewhere. Somebody help me!!!!

P.S. Is anyone watching "Avatar" when it comes out this weekend? There's not as much hype about it, at least in my sphere of influence, considering it's supposed to have the highest budget of all time! I've never been much of a sci-fi junky, especially when it comes to spacey, alien, type stuff. Basically, anything that has "Star---" in it, I'll usually take my money and run the opposite direction. BUT---the trailer to Avatar looks too darn fantasmical, and since James Cameron produced the whole sha-bang, I think the 3D Imax $600 ticket is worth it. SO...I intend on watching it this Friday---will let you know how THAT goes. [See the Trailer below!]

Oh, and since all you are so responsive to my questions....another one for the guys and techy girls...what's a good PC to invest in? I need one for work and currently use a macbook (which I'm in LOVE with) but don't want to run Parallels with it for work. My budget is around $600-1000. (Clearly, the cheaper the better---but I definitely want quality, in terms of something that will last me quite a few years) I won't be playing any "games" or running any crazy programs on it, but I also don't want a honky tonky machine that runs slow. I've looked into the HP Touchsmart, but don't know anyone that has it so I'm wondering if they've worked out all the kinks and bugs that people were initially running into. Suggestions, please?
